POKELIKE DAILY MINIGAME
Pokelike Pokésort: how the six-Pokémon puzzle works
Pokésort is a Daily minigame inside Pokelike. It gives you six Pokémon and five relationship clues. Your task is to find the one left-to-right order that makes every neighbouring link true.

Pokelike and Pokésort are one product ecosystem
Pokelike is the parent browser game. Its current home screen lists Story, Battle Tower, Challenges, and Daily Pokésort together. The Pokésort entry describes a six-Pokémon ordering puzzle with one solution each day. Community discussions, daily hint threads, streak questions, and solution searches all refer back to that in-game mode.
| Feature | Pokelike Daily Pokésort | pokesort.org 4×4 |
|---|---|---|
| Task | Order six Pokémon | Find four groups of four |
| Logic | Five relationships between neighbours | One exact connection inside each group |
| Daily source | Inside Pokelike | Independent date-seeded board |
| Typical help | Gen, Stage, Colour, Type and matchup clues | Category hints, One Away and group reveals |
What the five links mean
The exact labels can change with the daily board. These are recurring relationships visible in the game and discussed by Pokelike players:
| Link family | What to check | Common mistake |
|---|---|---|
| Generation | Same, earlier, or later debut generation | Remembering a later-game region instead of species debut |
| Evolution stage | Basic, Stage 1, Stage 2, or a relative stage comparison | Treating every unevolved-looking Pokémon as Basic |
| Colour | The Pokédex colour used by the game | Using appearance instead of the in-game Pokédex value |
| Type | A shared type or the direction of a type relation | Ignoring primary-type and dual-type handling |
| Beats / matchup | Whether one neighbour is super-effective against the other under Pokelike’s rule | Applying a remembered matchup without checking which type the game evaluates |
The in-game Pokédex is the authority for the current puzzle. Community threads show that colour, stage, and primary-type assumptions are frequent sources of lost attempts, so verify those fields instead of solving from appearance alone.
A spoiler-free solving method
- Write down all six names and the five link labels before moving anything.
- Start with the most restrictive link: an unusual colour match, a single possible generation pair, or a Pokémon with only one valid matchup.
- Place that pair temporarily, then check both outside links. A pair can be correct but reversed.
- Record generation, evolution stage, Pokédex colour, and typing only when a link needs it.
- Before submitting, read all five links from left to right. Do not validate only the pair you solved first.

Daily data and spoiler-help availability
A dated result requires six verified Pokémon, five verified link conditions, the correct order, puzzle date, and reset boundary. Until those publication checks pass, this site will not relabel a 4×4 board or reuse an unverified result. Use the official Pokelike game for the live puzzle.

The separate Today route is the only page intended for dated hints, order reveals, and link explanations. It remains noindex and shows an explicit unavailable state until the daily-data release policy is satisfied.
Sources and evidence boundary
Checked 2026-08-23. These are the specific materials behind this page and the keyword decisions:
- Official Pokelike game — parent product and current Daily Pokésort description.
- Pokelike Guide: current Pokésort and its FAQ — observed answer format, daily reset, streak, and reward context.
- r/Pokelike spoiler policy and community solving tips — player language, help intent, and recurring information needs.
- Public Pokésort solver — evidence that six-Pokémon solver intent and a functioning competing tool exist.
Community-observed mechanics and third-party tools can change, so the live game and in-game Pokédex take priority. These sources support the evergreen guide; they are not copied into an unverified Today answer.
